She was ordered by the British Government during the WWI, being named War Down. She was sold on 1919 to a British shipping company that renamed her as Graig. On 1922 she was bought by Astorqui.
She grounded close to Punta Insua (La Coruña) on 8/November/1929 in a storm. She broke in two, but without casualties.
